    本句的难点在于出现了大量抽象词，并且有很多名词短语并列，如果对这些单词很陌生，会给句子理解带来一定的障碍。我可以先用字母代替这些名词短语，再分析句子结构，就会容易很多： The word "zigzag" alludes to A that were applied in B to the exterior and interior of the buildings. 分析句子结构并不是万能的，如果在做句子分析时发现很多单词不认识，还需要平时多背单词。
