谓语
谓语对主语动作或状态的陈述或说明,指出“做什么”、“是什么”或“怎么样”。

系动词
本身有词义，但不能单独用作谓语，后边必须跟表语，构成系表结构说明主语的状况、性质、特征等情况。

主语

    本句中 It was …. that … 是强调结构，去掉这三个单词，剩下的部分也可以独立成句。 其中，make 后即可接双宾语，也能接复合宾语，有一个简单的区分方法：在直接宾语后边加上系动词，如果能构成完整的句子，就是复合宾语，否则就是双宾语。 本句中，make后面接的复合宾语， interesting and entertaining 作宾语补足语。
