    本句的难点是在划分表语从句 the paintings … ceremony 时，把 were directly related to hunting 划分为系表结构还是谓语状语？关键是要看词典中是否有 related 作形容词的词条和在此处强调的是动作还是状态，经过判断此处强调状态，并且词典中有related这一词条。所以此处作系表结构处理为好。细分表语结构， to hunting 是状语修饰 related。另外本句可以抽象出句型：A is directly related to B and is an essential part of C. 表示 ”A 与 B 直接相关并且是C 必不可少的一部分“。
