更愿意看书，看书可以通过独立思考获得自己的见解，而听别人讲更多的是一种灌输，看书相对来说比较安静，可以让心沉静下来，享受书中独有的美味。

in this competitive age, learning could make us stand out among other people. however, an important discussion on whether obtaining knowledge from books or experience arouses public's wide concern. from my personally perspective, i prefer consulting other people to solve my own problems. although books could provide us with some other advantages.
first of all, we could face some circumstances, for knowledge gained from experience of others are always concluded by some people who make the same fault.an illustrating example is my experience with a piece of code when i was on my C homework, there was always a bug reminder on the screen, and whatever book i found could not solve this problem, at last, i finished it by consulting a professor. in my opinion, if not, i could hold it with nothing to do till the day to handle my work. so i think that inquiring someone who experienced it before could equip us with a real understanding of the problem.
second, it looks more efficient to ask for others than reviewing books. imagine that you are studying a software, would you like to search for a plenty of book about it or just to look for others' help, obviously, the latter is the better, because you don't have enough time to divide into so many books, other's words could be easier to understand than tasteless ones in the books. what's more, for a lazy student, it might let him to give up this software during his school life.
admittedly, gaining knowledge from books could have many advantages,for instance, it can improve our reading facility, especially foreign language books. however, in some field just like science, what we need could be just one point which hides in the corner of one character. so it could be a time-consuming work for us to find it. therefore, i hold that obtaining knowledge from experiences plays an more important role.
on our road of studying, we could always be disoriented in the huge of knowledge, it is most important to take rational use of them and to find what we really need.
