本题改编自老GRE的ISSUE10"Governments must ensure that their major cities receive the financial support they need in order to thrive, because it is primarily in cities that a nation's cultural traditions are preserved and generated"。题目在构思和写作的过程中可以从特例到结论就是归纳的过程。以后凡是遇到抽象、大范畴的概念，不妨都采用这种发散演绎的方法，因为具体的事物是人们所熟悉和了解的，也容易观察和总结，最后归纳出结论。此题有两个审题难词：
1、primarily是限定性的副词，也就是说题目并没有说一定是城市保存和产生了一国文化传统。写的时候不要忽视了这个细节。
2、cultural traditions的概念相当的广泛，只要是继承来的、传统的thought, action, behavior，customs, attitudes, institutions都算。所以，举例子的时候不要仅仅局限于传统的物，还可以包括传统的思想、观念

3. 城市的繁荣对于文化传统的保留会有哪些正面或负面的影响？请举例并简述。

城市的繁荣对文化的正面影响：接触的信息广泛，利于文化的传播，
社会的法律制度制度维护执行更健全，利于文化的重建
负面影响：为了利益对古建筑破坏，在拆迁的过程中，房地产商为了利益强拆城市繁荣会使得一些传统文化没落，古迹减少，另外城市繁荣可能促使了其他文化的进入,对于文化传统造成很大冲击.比如中国大学学英语，确对自己国家的语言文化及历史文化了解很少，追崇时尚的摇滚乐，少了人喜欢例如京剧，不利于传统文化的发扬。
4. 大城市的繁荣是否一定要靠政府财政的支持？如果需要，是什么原因导致的？请举例并简述。
回答：
不一定，大城市的繁荣可以自己自足。如果需要，可能是经济萧条，很多员工失去了工作，或者是举办盛大的活动需要政府投入
5. 如果政府不给予任何财政支持，大城市以及其文化会怎么样？有没有类似的先例？请举例并简述。
回答：
文化可能逐渐衰落。

No one disputes that the governments have to make economic policy when the business environment demands them.But the idea that a government subsidys the major cities to thrive only for the sake of cultural traditions preseved and generated often provokes sketicism and disapproval.And I strong disagree the assertion.
