People today spend too much time or personal enjoyment----doing things they like to do---rather than doing things they should do. I partially agree with the author’s opinion about that we spend too much time on personal enjoyment, but have you ever thought why would that happen? I believe that it might be that we suffer from too much pressure and we need a outlet to release it, then we choose entertainment tools to make ourselves happy. On the one hand, we do saturated in the internet browsing、facebook checking and online talking too much which is meaningless just a way of wasting our pastime. When we are away from the computer, all the feeling we’ve got is empty and boring. That is the problem we’ve been facing everyday since our work is get started from the opening of the computer. We all the kind of people who are lack of self-control and easily get involved for relaxing stuff unconsciously, which always spend too much time. On the other hand, if we think thoroughly from the very beginning for why we would act that way, we will find that it is not ourselves----but the modern life’s high pressure make us to take advantage of every possible minutes get ourselves rested in entertainment. Furthermore, you may wonder what things make us stressed out. The answer is obviously simple: the things we should do. In China, the prohibitive tuition, the sky-high real estate price and the outrageously expensive medical services have been the heavy burdens for numerous families. It is no longer some news that young couples who are both well-educated with decent jobs have to work like a dog for at least twenty years to pay off the mortgage on their apartment. Life is so tough for most people that according to an investigation conducted world wide on the happiness of the residents in various countries, the Chinese are listed as one of the unhappiest groups. In summary, people do things that both they should do and like to do, that is what life’s all about. Struggling from one problem to another problem endlessly, however, we do live high with an optimistic attitude since we can still make time for the entertainment
