Having a good sense of responsibility is an indispensable part of growing up .When it comes to the topic about how to improve childern's responsibility ,different people come up with diverse ideas.But in fact ,it's too sheer to say that the most effective way to make them more responsible is keeping pets.    Pets are,by definition,animals that afford childern company but at the same time require them to feed as well as meticulously tend.Thus ,raising pets can be a great contributor to help chidern better understand their responsibilities.For example,aside from feeding pets on time,they have the opportunies to pick up pets waste dutifully when they are outdoors .It seems more likely that they perform more responsible,so as to protect the appearance of the city . In this sense,learning to care for a pet helps a child to grow up into a loving adult who feels resposible for those who depend on them and towards the society that needs their contribution for a better world too.    The opponents have some legitimate concerns .Childern may become so crazy about pets that they even neglect communicating with their parents and playing with their friends,even more worse,grow up to be an unsociable and introverted person .Besides,in extreme cases,pet attacks actually kill as deadly germs may be spread from pets to humans who are not necessarily immune to these germs.Instead we can choose other ways to stimulate childern's resposibility.For example ,planting a flower is a better option for them.Not only does it need less time ,energy and resources but also can prevent from posing a threat to people.Kids have the access to the natural world and witness a process of growing up,which spurs them to become more responsible about life.    Therefore,parents are surpposed to be prudent in term of cultivating childern's responsibility .Though pets can drive off our loneliness and comfort us at times of sorrow,they are not the best choice.
