提供给人更好的环境，途径和方式去学习。网络，学习机等等。 同时也让人产生对机器和技术的依赖，让人便得更懒。依赖电子购物，懒得出门，不利于身心的锻炼。

Do luxuries and convenience of modern life actually prevent people from developing into strong and independent life? As I see it, it is indisputable that the the luxurious and convenient life render modern people live more comfortable and leisurely. However, it do more harms that good to people, for that people will become too lazy to work and more dependent on technology.
First of all, modern life actually provides us with great convenience and leisureliness. Especially due to the increasing development of technology. For instance, the acceleration of E-commerce renders a great many people who are interested in a more convenient and fashionable life a perfect ways of shopping. Staying at home, they can buy almost anything they want from any where within much time saved to do lots of things they want. Apparently, explosion of technology indeed offers great opportunity to the convenience and luxuries of life, which make life better.
However, there is a fact we have to admit that we are actually on the way to more lazy and less motivated human characters. Darwin's father once was a smart and diligent man, however, after knowing that he was going to get a great fortune from his grandpa, he thought working is needless and he already got things he wanted and thus became lazy day to day. That it to say, motivation comes from unfulfilled desires. When people are living a more comfortable and luxurious life, they think they have fulfilled more desires. Thus, they become less motivated to work harder and actually are becoming more weak.
Finally, there is a fact we have to admit that the convenience of life are making us less independent. As we human coming into 21st century, the ways we get information with others welcome great changes. According to a recent survey, over 70 percent of people are inclined and accustomed to get information from Internet. At the meanwhile, 60 percent of them said that they are reading less books. In a word, with a more convenient and leisurely life, people are becoming more dependent.
All in all, despite of the luxuries and convenience of life, the modern people became less strong and more dependent. As we should be truly alert of the advantages of nowadays life, and never let us be the victims and slavers of modern life.,
