本题为老GRE的ISSUE66原题。题目讨论科技对人类影响的话题，题目分为两部分：第一部分陈述了一个大家都接受的事实——“人们越来越多的依赖于靠科技解决问题”；第二部分以这个事实为基础，给出了“依赖于科技必然会降低人类自我思考能力”的判断。题目不难理解，相关事例也有很多，分析时应当注意以下两点：
1、论述中始终要与“人们的自我思考能力”以及“解决问题”相关联，无论是讨论科技的正面作用还是负面作用，都应当以“有利于自我思考”或“有碍于自我思考”为方向。
2、可以静止独立的去对比分析，同时也可以采用动态发展的眼光去分析，影响程度的变化以及新情况的出现都可能会对判断产生影响。

1. 人们在平时的生活、工作、学习的过程中，都面对哪些问题？解决这些问题的方法都有什么？请结合具体事例简述。

在生活中，在基本的生存需求方面，人们要穿衣、吃饭、睡觉以及迁移。现在人们所穿的衣服，比如外套、毛衣、衬衫、Tshirt、裤子、鞋子、袜子基本都是购买的，这些衣服是由专业的服装公司生产的；人们所吃的食物，原材料基本上全为专业化的农场生产，人们可以从农贸市场或超市购买原材料，如大米、面粉、油、土豆、蔬菜等，回家自己烹饪；也有很多人选择在工作地点附近或住所附近的餐馆就餐；在住的方面，城市人口主要居住在楼房的公寓里，也有富人居住在郊区的别墅里；迁徙方面，现代化的交通方式提供了各种可能，包括汽车、飞机、火车和轮渡。
2. 人们解决问题的方法在科技帮助下，在哪些方面得到了改进和突破？和原方法相比有了怎样的提高？效果如何？请结合具体事例简述。

衣服方面，生产技术推动了服装工业的规模化，IT技术推动了服装的设计，使得人们可以穿上设计新颖多样，同时又物廉价美的服装；饮食方面，规模化生产和现代化物流使得人们可以以便宜的价格购买到各个地方的美食；住方面，建筑材料的革新和技术的进步使得人们可以住上更加安全和舒适的住所；行方面，飞机的速度可以使人们在数天之内到达世界各地，轮渡的大货运量保障了洲际之间的货物运输，汽车的便捷为偏僻的地方输送了物资，火车的综合优势使得人们可以在陆地上的运输任何东西。
3. 人类的自我思考的能力在什么场合或者情况下会被用到？要思考哪些问题？请结合具体事例简述。
回答：
在生活中，即使技术进步使得衣食住行变得更加便捷，但是人们仍然需要自我思考以做出判断：明天的典礼应该穿什么？今天的晚饭去哪里吃？住在哪里离学校更近？下个星期出差去纽约要乘什么交通工具？在工作中，也是同样。手机的普及使得人们可以方便的联系到其他人，但是要怎么说清楚自己要说的事情离不开思考；计算机的大规模使用节省了大量原本需要人工来计算和完成的工作，但是如果没有人的指令计算机也只是一堆废铁。尤其是在科研中，技术的进步为科研工作者提供了大量便利的工具和实验设备，帮助科学家更好地验证他们对宇宙的猜想或者对人类基因谱的解密，但是如何设计合理科学的实验已达到目的，需要科学家阅读大量文献并思考其中的关系和漏洞以提出新的假说。
4. 科技能否代替思考能力？如果能，请举例；如果不能，为什么？
回答：
可以当然代替不了人类的思考能力。从古至今，每一项科研成果的目的都是帮助人类更好地生活和工作，但他只是提供了一种工具，离开了人的思考和应用毫无意义。如中国古代的印刷术是为了让更多的人有机会阅读，但本身不能写书；现代的计算机能帮助数学家计算大型的矩阵模型，但是计算机只是提供了一个平台，具体计算的过程需要有他们编写程序来指定，这个就离不开数学家的思考。
5. 有哪些原因会导致人类自我思考能力衰退？这些原因有哪些是科技造成的？思考能力的衰退与科技之间存在必然联系么？
回答：
人类的进化会使得一部分人思考能力增加，而另外一部分思考能力减少。另外，越来越便宜的生活条件会使人变得懒惰，甚至懒得思考。迅猛发展的科技带来大量的信息，会把某些人吓得不敢思考，因为他需要很多时间去整理所获得的信息，比如泛滥得商业广告会使得普通人失去对商品的鉴别力，而只去购买广告所推销的商品，但事实上这个商品未必适合他或者未必好。思考能力的衰退和科技之间存在一定联系，但并非必然联系。
