Does dancing play an important role in a culture? Nowadays, this issue is concerned to a point where a wild discussion has been aroused. Some people argue that it is dancing that plays an vital role in a culture because it could promote the communication between people. However, other people maintain that it is not dancing but other forms of arts that fuel the culture's development.From my perspective, I agree with the former. Reasons go as follows.
Dancing could do far more good than harm to a culture because it helps to stabilize a culture or a society. Currently, coincidence with the rapid improvement of our modern society has been the increasing number of people who are under high pressure and suffer from mental illness. People might get angry or even crazy if they had severe mental illness, possible so they might play an detrimental role in a culture's constant. Thus, considerable importance should be attached to finding a solution to relieve people's pressure and make people increasingly healthy. Obviously, dancing could make people relax which could have a great impact on a culture or society.
Dancing has long been an accepted technique for relieving people's high pressure. Furthermore, in its manifestation of a communicating tool, it could promote people's communication which could also help with the continuity of a culture. When dancing, people often feel happy and they are eager to talk to others. Under certain circumstances, younger people could learn something about what their tradition is and how to keep it from being spoiled. The more the number of people learn the tradition and keep it, the more possibility this culture would last as long as it could. Therefore, dancing plays an significant role in a culture.
Admittedly, other forms of arts that could develop and continue a culture are also exist. The book is a prime example. China has its culture more than 3 thousand years.So long is the time that we could hardly imagine the life of our ancestors. However, with the help of books, which are written by our ancestors, we could have a better understanding of their life and even their ideas. Manifestly, without dancing, a culture could also show its charm.
From what has been discussed above, I highly recommend that dancing plays an important role in a culture. It is not only because dancing could help people reduce their pressure and have a better life, but also due to the fact that dancing could improve the communications among people which could help prolong the life of a culture.
