Many parents have problems to choose gifts for their children, because they are very cautious to try to avoid some risks of leading bad influence. A good gift for a child should show several respects of the parents, say, fluent communication, high intelligence and self-respect. There is one thing that can fulfill the mission, an encyclopedia written just for children.
Encyclopedia written just for children is both interesting and knowledgeable, which will develop the kid's intelligence. Because the book, or the volumes of the books, is included a lot of knowledge, say, mathematics, medication, biology and physics, children will see and find the original knowledge which can explain the world around them. This will be a totally amusing experience. With several photos on it, children will consider and imagine the cause and effect of a certain phenomenon, through which they will use their brains to think and calculate, then they will understand, even they do not figure it out now, the process of thinking will still help them to develop their intelligence.
Encyclopedia written just for children will help the kid have a better communication skill. This seems pretty strange, because this kind of geniuses always ignores other people and concentrate on their own stuff. But if the parents try to encourage them to speak and explain some knowledge, they will become more willing to speak and talk with the adults in a equal stance. Another reason is that when a child has read a lot of book, he or she will also think and speak in a more proper way, trying to explain themselves. After this communication, adults always encourage them to read more books, and then they will have more confidence and courage to talk and read.
Encyclopedia is very interesting to them, though some adults may doubt whether they can understand it or not. Even if they do not understand now, in the future, they will figure it out because they have the skills of thinking by themselves and talking with the adults. In fact, 60 percent of children, just as statistics made by the CDSI (Children Developing Study Institution) shows, are more like reading books when parents are all at work, and half of them are like reading Encyclopedia, even it is for the adult.
