Since the IBM corporation produced the first generation microcomputer, IBM-PC, in 1981, computers are being used in various fields. Coincident with the widespread of computers has been the phenomena that people`s lifestyle have a drastic change in the ways of working, shoping and so on. whether these changes brought by computers make our life easer or complex? I prefer to the former for the following reasons.
Firstly, computers make our study and work more easier. When she was young ,my mother had little books to read and she mainly readed books borrowed from the library where limited kinds of books were stored. However, I can read amost all kinds of books now through the conputer on the Internet. Moreover I can have many kinds of classes or lectures given by famous teachers through the computer.So with the computer ,our study become easer.And the fast operating speed and large memory space make people`s work easier and accurate. The most dramatic example of the computer`s useful function for many office workers maybe the date handing capacity.
Secondly, computers make our life more convenient. Nowdays people go shopping on the line, make friends on the line, amuse on the line, etc. More and more perfect trading system make on- line shopping which was incredible before popular. Acrooding a report, there are nearly 20 million people shopping on line. As with the improvement of the technology ,through the computer people can also buy train tickets ,book a room in a hotel, solve all kinds of trouble in everyday life .Thus people can save much time and energy.
Even though, with the computer`s widespread, there are some problems have appeared .Such as, disease caused by spending too much time sitting before computers continuely, fraud case , loss of information .Therefor, while we enjoy the convenient brought by the computer, we should pay more attention to our health and information security.
To be brief,though computers bring us some trouble sometimes, they undoubtedly make our life easier and convenient.
