回答：内在原因，人们追求更高的需求。人们不满足于简单的吃穿住行，要求各方面好的发展，健康的生活方式，要求不同。外在原因，科技发展带给人们的变化，比如电脑、电视、手机的影响，人们通过电脑可以进行更多的信息交流，信息搜集等。

There is a statement that study of history is to dispel the illusion that people living now are significantly different from people who lived in earlier times. But I think the statement is not totally right and I have some my own opinions. In a period characterized by its own features, they all different from other periods. Humankind has developed for such a long time, three industrialized revolutions have been take placed and we process a lot of facilities that influenced us a lot.First of all, some things like clothing and living attitude have changed a lot. It deprives a variety of clothes from in and outside nation. We bring elements from environment and create our own style. And also, the living standard has improved a lot comparing of the past. We want better living environment and materials.Secondly, computers and cellphones give us a great impact on study and working. Through surfing the Internet, the world has become a small village and we don't need to go out to know newly information. We chat with foreign friends whatever we like. Watching movies and hanging out in the mall become new entertainments for us. I have to say that the elements of the past and now are the same. They share the same principles like be kind to others and study harder as you like. We can learn from the past in order to make few mistakes in our life. So I think study the history is a key to be better ourselves, but it doesn't mean the life living now is same we lived in earlier times.
