Today more and more people spend money on their pets. In my opinion, I totally understand and support this option, because firstly pets are our friends, they can provide us funny and happiness after work, so it is reasonable to spend money on them. Secondly, some people are desire to excel others, they feed pet in order to take part in conformation show, which also demands a bunch of money to dress them up. Thirdly, pets are good companion in our daily life, not only for children but also for old man who is living alone. So I will elaborate as follows. There is no use to deny the fact that pets are our friends, so it is reasonable to spend money on them. Consider, when you come back from company, your dog will carry the slippers for you, which makes you feel sweet and happy. In contemporary world, increasing numbers of people treat pets as their family because most of them are intelligent, they have their own emotion and they can take care of your baby even sometimes they can save your life. There was a news reported on paper that a child, who was 5 years old, dropped in a lake, at this emergency moment, his dog pick him up and saved his life. Therefore, I think it is unconditional to give pets our love which includes spending money and time on them. Another aspect should not been ignore is that some people prefer to take part in conformation show, which makes them fell a great sense of accomplishment. Thus, they will spend a bunch of money every day to dress them up. Although others cannot understand such behavior, I still believe that their original intention was to demonstrate their pets be the best one and excelling others. My English teacher is a good example, every month he will take his schnauzer to take part in conformation show, and the expend he spend on dressing the schnauzer was amazing. Additionally, I admitted that there still many other ways to spend money, but no one can force us to spend money in a stuff which we do not like. Some people may claim that shopping and touring is also a good way to relax yourself, or to have a good time. But I still confirm that everybody have their rights to chose what they want to do. Hence, people who spend lots of money on pets should not be blamed. To sum up, according to the discussion I mentioned above, it is not ridiculous to say that spending money on pets is reasonable, if it makes you feel happy.
