controversial discussions comparing big cities with the countryside have continued for years. so far there has been no definite conclusion from either sider. lately, a new round of debate started, concerned with whether living in a big cities makes it easier for people to take care of their familiy members or not. In my opinion, however, both advantages and disadvantages exist within both environments.In large cities, there are more convenient facilities offered than in the countryside. There is an ample supply of daily necessities in urban districts. the advanced network of public transport makes it easier for people to commute to different locations, including shopping malls, parks and restaurants, etc. Medical cae is also more accessible, with hospitals being set up on all corners of the city. Thus, health problems could be addressed in a timely manner. Meanwhile, there are many places for recreation in big cities so that the whole family can spend enjoyable times together.However, some desirable aspects of city life should be considered. for example, pollution has become a severe problem. waste gas is being emitted into the air from various sources, including vehicles and industrial plants. Furthermore, the environment is also being negatively affected by high levels of noise pollution. Pollutants are everywhere to be found in urban areas, thus posing a big threat to the family's health. Another problem lies in the faster pace of city life. Today more and more young people in big cities are deprived of time spent with their families. Therefore, it is extremely diffcult for them to take good care of their loved ones.In contrast, the natural environment in the countryside offers positive benefits to people's health. In rural areas, people can breathe fresh air, smell the flowers and enjoy beautiful scenery. Green tress, vast fields and majestic mountains are all pleasing to the eye. it is the relaxed lifestyle of the countryside that can totally refresh a person's mind. This helps all members of the family to be in a good mood and stay healthy. Being closer to nature is a big advantage of country life. The cost of living is also comparatively lower in the countryside; thus the family diet can be improved. However, there is no denying that the undeveloped infrastructure can cause inconvenices in country life.In conclusion, taking good of the family is the most sacred responsibility of all social members. selecting a favorable living environment for them is also an improtant duty to perform. In order to make a satisfactory decision, it is advisable for people to take into account both the merits and disadvantages of the big cities versus the countryside when considering about their own personal situations.
