Some people think museums should be enjoyable places to attract and entertain young people, while others think the purpose of museums should be to educate, not entertain. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion. As the society become more and more advanced ,the museum plays a more and more important role nowadays.Some museums take the historic and serious atmosphere as their character,while some others regard themselves as places for enjoyment and entertainment.The duty of a museum is to educate people through the heritages from our ancesters ,and the cultivation should be given in a serious way.However,it is hard to conclude that the blithful environment of some museums is inapproporiate. A museum in serious atmosphere to educate the citizens is indispensible,of course.For example,when someone walking into a well-decorated ,gravity museum with handreds of cultural heritages ,it is hard to imagine he is not surprise at the humanmade miracles.With a gravity environment ,the one will soon devote to the displays and gain a lot of konwledge from the very amazing things.If the environment is not serious but pleasent and full of entertainments ,the man can hardly concentrate 100% of his attention to the cultural heritages ,let alone obtain much wisdom from the predecors. In this way,a museum should concentrate on cultivating people instead of entertaining people.Some other museums,nevertheless,think and act in a different way that they pay much attention to entertain young people so that themselves could attract alot of adolescents.It is understandable why these museums do so.Entertainments can ,obviously,lure a number of adolescents who are usually interested in the enjoyable places. This kind of action can boost the income of the museums and cultivate the juveniles in the mean time,of course not that much. From the analysis above, both of the two kinds of museums have their advantages and disadvantages.Just like everything has its merits and defects,this issue should not go to extremes.Educate people in a museum is not an isolation from entertainment.In additon ,attracting young people to museums by entertainments is not away from cultivation.A compromise way of the two ideas may be a good decision:a museum should combine the role of education with the role of entertianment so that the museum will be a great place for both adults and adolescents to drop in,and enjoy while being educated.
