The increasing development of computer gives people an
issue. Does computer bring good or bad? I prefer to believe that because of
computer the life becomes easier and more convenience, despite a few downsides.
First, the computer change the way of working. In a company
meeting, for instance, the team chief can use the slides to show the new
project plan which have several color that mark the important option. The
member of this meeting takes the note on their computers, instead of the
notebook. If someone has a mistake type, he or she just use 'del' button to
correct the words and move on. Then, the whole meeting is finish, but there is
not paper anymore because everyone save the memo in the computer. The traditional
meeting without computers cannot be so convenient.
Second, the computer makes the communication more quickly,
more directly and easier that the whole concept of communication was changed
because of computer. On one hand, People send an e-mail and in few seconds later,
the receiver will get and be able to check or review. E-mail, in fact, is more
effective than the tradition mail which may waste more time to wait the mail
reach. On the other hand, MSN, software of immediate communication, can make
people talk to each other anytime and anywhere through the key board and
screen, even using the camera. It is just like a real face to face talk.
Therefore, without computers, the communication would not be so direct and
effective.
Third, computers for modern people are a best vehicle of
entertainment. A computer can provide you great films, exciting video games,
wonderful music. Depending on the Internet, people can buy everything on the
website, such as EBay.
Admittedly, that people may be addicted in surfing the
Internet or computer games seems to be a big problem which brings by computer.
As long as, a good regulate plan can solve the problem like that. Finally, I
prefer to think computers change life to the positive side. The life becomes
convenience and people can save much time to do other meaningful things.
