本题为老GRE中的ISSUE36原题，和老GRE中的ISSUE241很相似（An individual's greatness cannot be judged objectively by his or her contemporaries; the most objective evaluators of a person's greatness are people who belong to a later time），都是在讨论评价者“合理性”的问题。实际情况是同代人和后代都在对“某人”进行评价，二者的视角、关注点、参考信息等因素都存在不同，这些不同也就影响了评价的效果。在分析的时候可以根据不同领域、不同事件以及不同的标准来展开思路。

3. 后世人的评判和同代人评判有什么共性和区别？在这些区别中有哪些是后世人具有的优势，而且是同代人没有办法弥补的？

2.后世的评价一定会更客观。
（1）当时人的所为超越了当时历史的理解能力。只有多年后，人们才能理解。如：文艺复兴时的科学家：哥白尼，布鲁诺。
（2）当时的人受统治意识的控制，不能客观评价。后世才能够客观的评价历史。如：王朝更替时会贬抑先朝，后朝为之作传，才客观评价。
（3）过在当代，功在千秋。如：中国的大运河。
（4）社会进步，人的思想更加客观。封建社会，宗教社会中，受统治阶级的思想控制很深，民众没有自由思想。现在民主自由，看问题更加客观。
4. 是否存在后代评价和同代人的评价差别很大的人物？造成差别的原因是什么？请结合具体事例说明。

Jinghang Canal play so important a role in the consecutive dynasties in China. However, the project cost almost hundreds of thousands of lives of labor and 3-year-GDP at that time, inducing a high tax rate, which evoked many turmoil against the emperor and put an end on Yang Guang's life.
