本题为老GRE的ISSUE66原题。题目讨论科技对人类影响的话题，题目分为两部分：第一部分陈述了一个大家都接受的事实——“人们越来越多的依赖于靠科技解决问题”；第二部分以这个事实为基础，给出了“依赖于科技必然会降低人类自我思考能力”的判断。题目不难理解，相关事例也有很多，分析时应当注意以下两点：
1、论述中始终要与“人们的自我思考能力”以及“解决问题”相关联，无论是讨论科技的正面作用还是负面作用，都应当以“有利于自我思考”或“有碍于自我思考”为方向。
2、可以静止独立的去对比分析，同时也可以采用动态发展的眼光去分析，影响程度的变化以及新情况的出现都可能会对判断产生影响。

人类在这些情况下会自我思考，科技无法帮人解决，或者是处在一个与世隔绝的环境，除了依靠自己的大脑，没有其他方法得出答案。比方说，石器时代，那时候无科技，人类自己思考出来用把石头弄尖，更容易获得食物
4. 科技能否代替思考能力？如果能，请举例；如果不能，为什么？
回答：
不能，科技的产物只能是按照我们设计好的程序一步步的运行，无法像我们人类一样发明新的东西。
5. 有哪些原因会导致人类自我思考能力衰退？这些原因有哪些是科技造成的？思考能力的衰退与科技之间存在必然联系么？
回答：
疾病，长期不思考都会导致思考能力下降。长期不思考这个原因有可能是科技造成的，但是二者之间并无必然联系。只有遇见问题总部自己思考，以来科技提供答案的人自我思考能力才会下降，儿其他的只是利用科技处理一些不重要的问题，比如说计算，他们可是生出时间思考更多有价值的问题

Does it is true that relying on technology more and more today, people thinking ability would deteriorate? The author thinks that if we rely on technology excessively, we may not consider how to solve the problem by ourselves; then the ability of humen to think certainly deteriorate. Indeed, on the surface the author's opinion seems quite reasonable. However, on the other face, I consider that relying on technology could help us get rid of some complex but meaningless works, which always wastes our valuable time that we could use it to think over some more significant problems.
As I said in fhe first paragraph, as far as I can see, technology wouldn't deteriorate human thinking ability, because most of us treat technology as a kind of tool, which could solve some sample, complex and meaningless work. That is to say, technology could help us save more time to come over some arcan or sophiscated problems, which would prompt technology develope and improve our living level.For instance, when we travel, plan and car curtail time from start to destination, it could also make us more comfortable. In additon, when some accidents came out, we could spend less time form the sence of incident to hospital bu car, which means, it might save our life. According to these facts, technology is a instrument to us, and it won't deteriorate human thinking ability.
However, we couldn't deny that technology did deteriorate the ability of human to think more or less. According to the theory of adaption(and I praphse), it would be a long years before an organ regress in a animal; at least it was uncomfortable after we use that organ again. We have experianced that if we weren't write whole summer holiday, we would feel very strange when we return to school. This phenomenon would happen to our thinking ability as same as handwriting.
Although the phenomemon that relying on technology would deteriorate human thinking ability might happen, it doesn't mean that the deterioration of thinking ability of human is the only one corespondence. Most of us, relying on technology is just to search information when we wrote essay. We can tell which information are useful to us, and the progress of distinguishmen involved thinking. On the other hand, if we abandon technology, that is we don't rely on technology, like the author said, it is meaningless to prompt technology development and it will take us considerable time to figur out some complex math problem, which it could solve by computer in a very short time.
