As the sociaty requires this kind of people who possesses comprehensive knowledge and techniques, the undergraduates should acquire information through taking major and minor courses the universiy provided.However, it is not comfortable and apt to be forced to take aboundant non-professional courses that may occupy plenty of time.So I partly agree with the claim that universities should require every student to take a variety of courses outside the student's field of study.
As everybody knowns, undoubtly, the most essential quality of gaining a foothold in society is the professional skills that undergraduates may acquire in the university.The people who have admirable specialized knownadge as well as conduct and may have contribute to this field is the exactly person what the society needs.
Nevertheless, undergraduates should have capabilities like critical thingking, cooperation with others, communication capability and so on. Firstly, People can deepen the cognition of a matter after their meditation.Completing the tasks about the courses and Caring about the hot topics in the society are good ways to enhence the ability.Secondly, it is well known that the fire burns high when everybody adds wood to it.  It is possible that people may be ill conceived about a matter and it is time to gather others to integrate the answers.
