回答： Usually when people planning on discuss somethings, they can choose among many ways, including face-to-face, telephone or mobile phones, e-mail, im software like skype, wechat, ect. If it was me i will definitely choose face-to-face discussion if it is allowed by time and location. Because by communicate face-to-face, I find easily communicate complex ideas and track subtle emotional changes during the conversation.

回答： Upsetting problems make people feel uncomfortable when discuss. Controversial problems could easily cause violent debate. Those sort of problems don't have an unique or correct answer, instead, their answer or conclusion tend to be subjective for different person. For instance, what is your opinion about modern art? Some may think that is totally trash...while others value them highly.

回答： When people have an conversation over those topics above, they will stick to their own idea which will easily conflict with another. People tend to defend their own idea and dwarf others. I will choose communicate face to face in this case since it is easily express oneself even it will cause awkward simultaneously. However if we are at separate locations I will choose video or voice mail instead because it allows you comb noisy ideas and express emotion effectively.
