Some people chase popularity while others chase its own value. These may affect purchase time. Those popularity chasers will definitely buy a new device on its first sale in order to gain people's admires, meanwhile others may not buy it until they got feedback.

When consider buying a technological device, we should put price, functionality, usefulness and side-effects in mind.
