In this issue, the author links the diminish of one's reputation with the media scrutiny. At first glance it seems to be reasonable,since we have enough examples of those stars who failed after being reported negatively.Nevertheless, there are also a large amount of people whom we can call heros even when they are subjected to the media scrutiny. First, in last years, as the media is getting more and more developed, those who we used to call  heros are more exposed to the public, then some of which are not heros any more.However, even under this considerably great supervision, there are still a lot of stars staying in their position.To illustrate clearly,let us take a look at the following example. Liu Xiang, one the most famous hurdles athlete in the world, who won the first golden medal in the track for China in 2004,Athens and so became the national hero.In the last ten years, his life has been under the spotlight everyday that he can barely had a private time.  However, he has been keeping definitely painstaking practice for the next olympic games in London and fight the injuries all the time.Moreover, his smilling has fascinated a lot of his fans and he has always been the Sunny-boy in front of the cameras.  Second, we believe that the pressure brought by reports is considerably significant, yet sometimes media can also make a hero.Yao Ming ,a noted basketball star who has been the proud of China, however was not a hero when he arrived in the US. He overcame considerable difficulties and proved his super ability.But without the impressive reprots and news everyday, he can't gain the achievement like today.We can say that media also contributes to making a hero positively effective. Although there has been a large number of stars ruined by media, the one to be blamed should be themselves.The media can exaggerate a event but not to change the fact. Nicholson, one of the most famous president of the america but noted as its  "watergate event".It is undoubtful that the media has the responsibility in aggravating the event, but the origin is due to Nicholson himself. In sum, media can not only diminish a hero's reputation but also can contribute to a hero's achievements.But they can only exaggerate the fact to the public,not to distort the it.In conclusion, the effect on the heros is generated by themselves.
