Nowadays, there are two kinds of universities, the first kind of universities require students to take classes in a lot of subjects, while the other universties support that students should specialize in one subject.  From my perspective, I prefer the former, for they it can benifit the students considerably on their future work and private life. In my university, I must take different courses in variety subjects, ranging from art to mechanics to dynamics and mathmatics. I think it is great reasonable and helpful to me. First of all, it appears that studying in many subjects will bring a significantly amount of oppotunities and benefits to them in their jobs. Now, a Job not only needs students to have the knowledge of one subject, but also need students can also know something about other subjects so that they are up to the job. With knowledge of many subjects, a student will be able to have a comprehensive view of one problem, thus he can deal with the problem tremendously easy. For example, my counsin comes from a university which requires every student shall take more than ten class out of his major. He was once extremly against the regulation of the university, but as time goes by, after he had worked in an IT company several years, he did appreciate the university's regulation, because he was promoted more fast than his colleagues whose universities just offer them the classes of their major.Secondly,  studying the knowledge of many subjects will broaden their minds in their private life. If they learn more knowledge of different subjects, they are going to be more well-rounded people. Therefore, when facing some problem in their personal life, they will take the problems into account more comprehensively. For instance, I have learned a course which was about the psycology and was far from my major. The course enable me to think more about my heart, how to control my emotions and how to gain happiness, which make me to be more mature and get well with myself.  Let's take a look on my counsin again. My counsin is a really happy man and have more freedom for the reason that he doesn't care much about how to earn money. He read many books and because of his study of economics in the university which was not his major, he decided to donate his money on the real estate and stocks to earn money out of work, and have earned a tremendously amount of money.However, the students who are specialize in one subject also have some advantages. For example, they are more easily to fit in the job which is about their major. They study more deeply and undestand their major considerably profound. Although the students who come from the universities require them specialize in one subjects maybe competive in one area, they do not have more chance and more broad mind, thus they will have less chance to gain success. So, I share the view that it's better for universities to require their students learn classes in many subjects, for it's really helpful to the students future.
