now in this rapidly developed society, there are so many people who obtain great success in some certain field, but, however, some other people are always do the very common things in their whole life. so here comes the debate. in order to succeed, should we be more like others than be different from everyone else? as far as i am concerned, the answer is depended. We do need to be different in some certain aspects like ambition, creation and some other personalities, but, there are still large amount of things like kindless, warmhearted and fealty that the society required that need us to be act like most normal people. 
In order to be successful, we must be different from everyone else in some certain aspects like creation,confidence and query. These will help us gain great success in competitions with other people who are normal. imagine that if Newton was just like everyone else, when the apple fell down,how can we know the gravity lows and how the socalled great inventions are appeared? And just because this, Newton became one of the greatest physicians in history and gain respects of all the students and teachers who are majoring in physics. most successful people, they must have something in common, like confident, optimistic, hardworking, etc, what we all know is creation of Newton, confidence of Sheldon, the character in the TV show Big Bang, and humor of Charlie Chaplin. 
if people are all alike, then personality will make no sense. think about it, if Steve Jobs was like others, how can we now use iphones? how the company Apple can make so much success? let's take Einstein as an instance, before he put out the theory of light quantum, physicists all over the world just believed that light is a kind of wave. what if Einstein just think about it like others? it will take a considerably long time for us to know the truth, or maybe we never know that. who knows. Thus, most outstanding discovery and applications in so many fields like medical and engineering would put off for thousands of years. Therefore, it would put great impact on our lives. so that is the difference between a successful man like Einstein with other ordinary persons.
however, not all the differences will contribute to your success. for example, most people believe that family is important, but you are different, you just consider yourself. so what will happen? obviously people will regard you as a selfish and coldblooded man and treat you unfriendly. And a person without any friends, even though he have made great success in his field, he would just feel lonely and no one could share the happiness of success with him. Not to mention that aperson abandoned by the society would never be successful.
So if you want to be successful, take this in your mind: be different from some other people in some certain aspects to show your unique personality and thus will help you to be regarded as a special and unique person. But in some circumstances, don’t be toodifferent even just be normal, not all the difference can contribute to your success.
