For young people, finding jobs that are suitable for them is not as easy as they once considered. Some of them try to find jobs similar to their parents in order to get some assists from their parents. Others might thought different kinds of jobs would benefit for their further developments. In fact, however, choosing jobs may be not closely related to what your parents'jobs.
Young people should consider their interests when choosing jobs, since interests are the key momentum for their working developments. As a young graduate like me, interest is the most efficient teacher of me. I would try my best to solve some problems like coding a program or solving a question when I enthralled about it. But when facing with something boring like writing papers or sorting documents, I would get tired of doing them quickly and give up doing them. So, if someone wants to make a difference in his work, interest about this work should not be left out. And for the reason that our parents and us may have different kinds of interests, doing work that are similar to our parents may not be a good choice for us though it is for our parents.
When choosing jobs, we should also concerned about the possibility for the further development of the jobs. Take the tickets seller as an example. Tickets seller used to be a very popular job, because many social events or entertainments like show or entertainment parks need people selling tickets for customers. But with the development of technology, we could use cellphones to buy tickets and show the tickets to the guide with cellphones. Companies only have to check the permission of the customers on Internet. Thus, tickets sellers seems to be useless. And this kind of jobs would be cancelled with doubt. How can we choose these kinds of jobs even though our parents still do these. So, from another part, choosing jobs like our parents is not mindful
Since the society has changed a lot, some skills may be lost. As a result, we may have no chance to do the work like our parents without some necessary skills. For example, some craft workers know how to make baskets and some other artful works. Their children, however, do not have these kinds of skills and do not want to learn these also. So, for these young teenagers, they should not do the same work as their parents.
Admittedly, doing the same works as their parents can help teenagers to clear out some impedes in the work. But, as young people, what we should do is to face such difficulties with courage. Consequently, doing the works that are similar to our parents is not better than doing something others.
