As there are increasing ways communication media nowadays, using what kind of tools to solve particular problems arouse people's concern. In my point of view, for the problem that are upsetting or controversial, it is better to use e-mail and text message than to use telephone or voice-message.Communicate by e-mail and text message are benefit for reseanable expressing and it can provide with decent word that avoid conflicting. Last semester I persuade my friend Lisa who always insist on living outside the campus that we'd better live in campus next term. I choose to send her an e-mail and list all advantages living inside the campus. I try my best to use friendly and comfortable words. Also, in the e-mail I compare both benifits and drawbacks of living in and outside the campus. Finally I successful persuade her to live with me. I believe it is the sincerely and convining word in my letter online that make her change mind. If I take a phone to her talking about this problem, I can not ensure that we won't have an argument.For people that you are unfamiliar with, it is better to use e-mail and text message which are more formal and polite. This kind of tools can offer people more time to considerate and response. Take an academic problem for example, last semester I made a call to my professor to talk about a math problem that I think there are something wrong within the slide. Unfortunately, he was busy in completing his own project, and seems unwilling to help me. Finally, he failed to solve my problem. And I think if I choose to use e-mail or text message, the professor may have enough time to consider my problem and deal with it efficiently. E-mail can not only make me express problem clearly and logically but also present a polite attitude to the professor who maybe doesn't have time concentrating on others.Using telephone or leaving voice message is more easy and convenient to communicate, sometimes, relatives often prefer to use this kind of way because it seems more close to each other when you take a phone and hear your familiar voice of parents or friends. However, I insist that communicating by e-mail and text messagethat for disgusting and conversial problem is much better, for it a formal and polite way to explian this specail problem and it can avoid confliction and unpleasant argue between friends.
