Success does not come from thin air. Successful people have many features in common which lead them to have accomplishment, such as ambition and innovation. Certainly, unique feature helps sometime but the disadvantages it causes weigh a lot. So, I prefer being more like others.   Ambition is a main driving force behind their success. Take Dr.Yang, the character of the Grey’s Anatomy, for example, being a surgeon is calling for her. She always works 80 hours a week and enjoys it. She even works just she have a abortion. She does all this as a labor of love and at last becomes the best cardiac surgeon. If we do something we do not love, it is nearly impossible for us to inject passion, time and even the whole life into it.   Also, innovation is an essential ingredient of success. Steve Jobs, as the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Apple Incorporation, was a great inventor. Jobs was among the first to see the commercial potential of mouse-driven graphical user interface. And he saw the future of entertainment , inventing the iPod, iPhone and iPad which changed everyone’s life.   Clearly, being different from anyone else is significant to creativity. Opportunities lie in where few people can see. However, it may cause misunderstanding. Say someone has a super-progressive idea and talked about it with others, then finds that nobody can really understand what he or she is talking about. Then the sponsors would not afford the funding and the subordinates do not know what they can do to achieve the blueprint. That certainly degrades the quality of cooperation.   So, I think that it is better to be more like others than be different from everyone else
