As modern society develops, technology develops day by day, and plenty of innovations have been created. Technology, which refers to knowledge, skills, and techniques, play an more essencial role in people's daily life than ever, and this is the controversy arise. Some believe that the progress of technology brings lots of benefits to people's life, while those who strongly disagree with it cite that there are kinds of destructive influence of technological development on people. From my own perspective, the development of technology do greater advantages than disadvantages.
The first important reason I want to put out is that people have a more convenient life in various field than ever, owing to the rapid development of science and technology. With mobile phones, which people nowadays use them everyday, they have a new way of communicating and transmitting information. Large number of business have done by phone call and there is no need to waste time to travel to visit the partners face to face. furthermore, if the cooperators must to visit the others for important meetings and discussion, they can travel using airplane or trains to save time, instead of using carriage or other slow-speed transportation. Additional, the innovation of internet is of great benefit to the modern society. People can search online to find information quickly which they do not know before, or they can sent emails for business or chat with families and friends through instant messager softwares, resulting in not only money-saving but time-saving. Therefore, with innovations accredited to modern technology, people have a more convenient life than ever.
Another significant reason is that, according to the technology progress, people live under a more healthy and much safer condition. Firstly, with modern medical care system, there are more hospitals and doctors, so people can get treatments and achieve healing  much sooner, instead of waiting in a long list for see a doctor. Secondly, there are much more exercise facilities in cities and towns constructed by governments than ever before. As a result, people become to do exercise everyday in the morning or after dinner in the evening since the facilities are free to citizens. Finally, GPS can receive direction information from satellites and give people orientation when they participate in outdoor activities in the wild. This innovation gives a safer experience to people, instead of no mean for accurate orientation in old days.
However, the negative aspect of technological development cannot left out although we definitely live a better life. The rapid development of science and technology bring modern society a unprecedented fast pace life, and under such situation people easily lean to compete under great pressure. If the pressure exceed the threshold, a certain person perhaps break down for a long time. But psychotherapists in modern society are easily be accessed, so people with mental problems can gain treatment and recover for low-situation. Also, people have access to indoor or outdoor exercise to release their pressure efficiently. 
Based on analysis above, human beings have a easy access to the comfortable modern life, even though there maybe some pressure causing by rapid development.
