ISSUE239"Much of the information that people assume is factual actually turns out to be inaccurate. Thus, any piece of information referred to as a fact should be mistrusted since it may well be proven false in the future"。
In the past, people regarded tomatoes as poison and will never try to taste them. One day a young man was addicted to the beautiful appearence of tomatoes, doubting about how such a charming plant could be fatal. Therefore, he took a nip on a tomato without dying. It is evident that without his distrust, people will never find this new kind of food.
If we could always keep alert to those false part of information, we are more closely to criticize them and find a new research field. During the reading of modern chinese history, I found some difference between the official history and historicl archive in the anti-Soviet Union demonstration of 1946. After carefully analyzing, I found something wrong in the official history desceiption due to scelective use of documents. By mistrusting information exposed to us we are able to pick up incoherent parts and be closer to reality. However, any kind of good habit need to be behave in a proper standard, mistrust is not an exception. If we take everhthing as false, we may fall into a miserable situation. One of my friend mistrusts every kind of history book, and he is convinced that all of them are political propaganda. In this way, he can hardly get any knowledge about history. This kind of so-call citical lead to unenlightment.
We do not need to be afraid about inaccurate information because it is imcomplete information lead to further research. In scientific field, numberous theory put forward by excellent expert prove to be wrong at last, but they are of great value as a promotion to progress. The dangerous logic that false part is equal to false entirety may stop any exploration of unknown field. All the development may be stopped because and fact are mistrusted by people.
