With the development of society and economy, increasing number of people are eager to be success. In our daily life, how to succeed becomes a hot topic. Some people hold the idea that perform like others do will lead to success whereas others assist we should be different from everyone else if we want to be successful. Personally, I prefer to the latter idea, that is, in modern society, just following others, even those who have already gained great achievement is not assurance of success. In order to succeed, we should perform ourselves according to our personality.
Gift and interest permit success. People have their own gift and interest. To make achievement, it is important to confirm an area which we are really interested in and have ability to perform well. If we enter the field we have great passion to do well, it is likely to achieve success. On the contrary, if we just take some issues like someone else rather than out of interest, it is difficult to get achievement. One of my friends, Dr. Sun, is a prime example. As most of peers, Dr. Sun choose finance as his major before he entered into the university. Actually, the reason he took that major was that the majority of his classmates in high school did so. He even had no basic idea related to the finance. Later, he found that he had no passion to take courses in finance department and in a campus activity, he found his interest in chemistry and decided to take it as major. In the new area, he is showing his gift and passion, and finally, he gets his ph.D degree. It is obvious that special ability and passion lead to his success.
Even in the same area, simply follow others will not lead to success.
