In the age of materialism, everyone hopes success and gains more money. However, should we learn to those who are successful, and be more like others to make our dream come true?
I think the answer of this question is no. In reality, with the swift development of modern society, being different from everyone else and adhered to your beliefs may help you succeed more easily.
First of all, chasing other's pace is not as much of easy as we might suppose. Lacking of experience and good opportunities would bring you failure. Take those search engines for example. Google is a well-known one, and has the most information resource. No doubt, most people choose it and google is the most successful search engines. After that, we have Baidu in China, and Baidu' success must owe to its geographical advantages. Later, other search engines come out, but they could not copy google' success.
Secondly, different people have different talents, and if find an appropriate direction, everyone would get a chance to be somebody. Not everyone could be Albert Einstein, for his talent for physics is in comparable. However, one might be the Einstein of his own field, if he could find his talent. Even though Bill Gates has not got his bachelor degree, but no one could deny his talent for software. Gates has confidence in himself, and then he became one of the most successful people in the world.
There is no denying the fact that success is built with drops of sweat just as ocean is built with drops of water. Therefore, anyone who want to be successful must spare no effort and never stop. Before getting others' appreciation, there might be lots of difficulty in the way. However, jumping over all the hurdles would make one become a great person. When heliocentric theory came out, no one believed it, but Copernicus did not change his idea even losing his life, for which we think he is a great man today.
All in all, in order to succeed, we should make great efforts just like others, but more important, we should be different from others when we choose which way to go, for we must take account our own talent and do what no one dose.
