With the development of social educaition, more and more students are receiving high education.  This contrubutes to increase of rate of culture level of whole society, however, we are also not ready to neglect the countereffect: there are millions of graduates flock into the labor maket every year, the pressure of employment comes to more and more stressful.  Normally, two views are stated when looking for jobs, one is choosing a career on the basis of pragmatic considerations, the other is based on his or her natural talents or interest in a particular kind of work.
     Why should we need to choose a career?  The answers are various, for living a rich life standard, for exploiting the knowledge, or for making achievements to enhance one's own value.  In management theory, one said that there are five hierarchies in individual's need which are physiological needs, safety and security, love and belongings, self-esteem and self actualization successively.  Here the physiological involves water, air, food, shelter and sleep.  One of the most important aim to choose a career is to meet  our basic needs, if this point is not considered,  the rest will fail to be realized because of lacking neccesary conditions.  Hence, it is indispensable for those who are struggling with life to take pramatic considerations when they are searching a job.
     We eat to live, not live to eat.  A career is expected to show one's skill and explore one's potential, not only to satisfy the basic demands, otherwise the career is likely to become a tedious task to repeat.  What more, interests motivate oneself to plung into the work as impetus, nature helps to create interests aiming to enjoy funs when you are in work.  Apparently, one who choose his or her career in terms of intersts and nature may be more possilble and easier to love the career so as to be blessed with succeess than who are only work for pragmatic factors.  Most masterpiece in art and music are devoted in their career, fightging with their fates, even though they are sometimes too poor to afford their live.
      The trditional career choosing principles are not  adapt to the devoplements of present society.  The intensity and scale competition rising rapidly aroud the world determines higher expectation levels among lerners and emplyees.  Only laying a particular focus on one part in this time seems to be ineffective, which would lead to a strong utilitarian purpose or unrearlistic pursuit.  Admittedly whichever are not tend to cause a all-around development for individual let alone sociatal benifits. Conclusively, joining these two  terms together is more appopriate.
     As to emploment, we need to know about employability skills which are a set of attributes, skills and knowlege that maket paticipaciants should possess to ensure they have the capatibility of being effective in the workplace.  High schools should open such cources on employability education to lead students to set up right career choosing attitudes.
