As aIn the issue, the author claimed that it is not possible for a socity to regard any living man or woman as a hero. The author gave us the reason that the reputation of anyone who is subjected to the media scrutiny will eventually be diminished. In my opinion, I don't quite agree with the author's point of view. Studies of socialscientists lead to a conclusion: some times, media plays a negetive role in their reports, and our society need heroes eventrually.Retrospect the history of human culture and civilization, heroes appeared successively. Heroes, experciously who were crutial in wars or catatrophy, empressed us greatly. Our society price them in order to advercate the sense worth of it. Media, as a tool of superintendentment, broadcast or advercate heroes misdids However, being a member of human, heroes does not always do things people think they should rationally. In my opinion, heroes were loved by their people because they are actrually human, not a tool or machine.What is more, heroes are famous for what they did for a country or their  people, and what we advocate are their spirits and candids. In the second world war, there were a lot of heroes almost in every country that attended in the war. They, nomatter living or dead, showed their bravery and love of country. After the war, some of them came back to thrie home town. An old solder called Wu in our neighbourhood was one of them. They were prized, but leave a sad life in there old ages. He somkes, he is rude, but he is a hero.So, in my opinion, we need heroes and if we find a better way of reporting, living heroes will not be diminished.
