  The speaker asserts that more information can be absorbed through communicating with those whose views contradict our own than those who share opinion with us. Admittedly, in most circumstance, contradictive standpoint is of great benefit for our self-recognition, and exchanging attitude is a important method to expand our perspective and increase the preciseness of our statement, but since it is not a universal rule, we could never overlook the importance of sharing point with others, the compared advantages and disadvantages of each differ in specific fields, so it is deserving of discussion in which filed the sheer supporting to the contradiction become applicative.   In the domain of science, I easily found several instances to illustrate the its assistance to make progress, one is that Newton's laws of motion, the fundamental blocks of classical mechanics, contradicted many rules Aristotle concluded, which prevailed widely before the Newton’s age but proved incorrect later, Newton advanced physics significantly/* and his classical mechanics explained almost all phenomenon, until human’s perception into the microcosmic world, where some happenings conflict with classics again, then the theory of relativity show up, pushing our development to a more splendid extent,*/ obviously it was the distinction between scientists that accelerate understand of nature, we can infer that an individual usually recognize things more precisely by referring other’s considered disagreement, the perspective of anyone inevitably has limitation.   Similarly, numerous contribution is made due to distinctive cognizance in psychological issue, someone would considered the composition of theory a paradox, yet the constituent of the union is a special one which actually elaborate the supposed assumption.   In spite of the advantages of learning from people whose views disapprove ours, undue and irrational disagreement may be counterproductive and cause distress, once our energy is put into the endless debate instead of the further research. Indeed, it is easier for people to understand each other when they find them sharing the same thing, in our daily study, it is ridiculous if any student is willing to cooperate with another whose attitude is thoroughly different with their owns, which impedes efficient progress from a rule of thumb.   For the purpose to improve ourselves in a benign way, it is important to analyze and balance the pros and cons of learning knowledge from each kind, for me, I would rather absorb the valuable information as well as conclude the incongruities after listening a appropriate amounts, not too many, of reasons and suggestions from the contradictive aspect, then convene a group and do researches direct to the discrepancy, the suggested resolution is not completely doctrine of rightness or definite standard, however, combine both of the above methods.
