No,I'm a student in college. My teachers usually assign homework every week.There are so much homework that I have no time to do other thing. I want to read Steve Jobs, study english, play football and work for my boss. But I can only do a few of these because I usually finish every single homework.

It's really helpful for my study. The knoweledge I had learned in the class is easy to be forgetten and actually I can't understand every point of them in the class. So, by doing homework, I review the knowledge and underdtanding them more well. It necessary for students to so some homework.

First, students will forget them soom. It is hard to remember everything without review. When I was in grade 2, I had a class called ABC in which the teacher never assign homework. In the class, I found that I cannot remember most knoweledge which was teached on the last class.

Many students complain about so much
homework that they have no time to play with friends. They think teacher should
not assign homework every day.
However, in my opinion, daily homework is necessary
for every student.
First of all, by doing daily homework, students can review the knowledge which has been learned in the class. With this kind of repetition, students can truly own the definition or formula. Just as DuChangXu, a famous English teacher in China, said that repetition is the only way to remember something. When I was preparing the IBT, It was a huge challenge for me to learn so many English words because I hadn't read English book or spoken English for four years. With the repetition in an appropriate frequency, I finally remembered 5000 words.
What's more, although teachers will try their best to make sure that every student in the class can understand what they are saying. It's truth that there always some knowledge is hard to understand and not every student can grasp every point. By taking daily homework, students are forced to read book or notes again and again until they really know how are everything going on. Anna, a mathematics teacher of me, always ask us to solve every problem in the book, It's so helpful that all my classmates get a high score in the final examination.
At last, the society is full of pressure. No one could survive without ability to take it. Daily homework gives students a chance to deal with pressure. By learning how to make good schedule and work efficient, the one who takes homework every day will be comfortable after leaving school. One of my friends, Jim, studied in HuangGang University, said that the daily homework made him understand the secret of high-efficiency.
As so many reasons above, I strongly hold the opinion that teachers should assign homework every day.
