According to what the author said, a society is no longer possible to regard any living man or woman as a hero. Because of the media scrutiny, no one's reputation can keep well all the time. But my view on this issue is that heros by themselves are not right or wronge can be rudged by the media. Well and truely, a true hero is someone who never be changing because the media criticize well or badly.
Though in this world media more often than not control people's mind by putting out some criticizable opinion on public affairs, the heroic thing is different from others which is normal and changeable. Why? First of all, the new hero is someone who attacting everyone's attention even he or her don't like that. And more importantly, even after the bad news reported what eveybody hate, the hero could back. Because the media cann't control everyone's mind, the ture hero is likely to always has someone stand for him or her. So, that is what I want say, in this world, media is requisite, and the judgement of it often change comes frequently and extremely. Obviously,the influence of media is not little, but not bigger enough to change the value of a hero. I have to admire that the number of heros tend to decrease fast; however, in fact, hero is not only just a human only live in the movie or the mythology. Personally, I think ture hero is the person who just willing to do something others don't want to do. For instance, fireman is one of these commonplace hero, they risk the danger which could kill them to save other people's life. If I were the editor of a media, I would pick out a fireman who have been doing the fire-fighting job during many yaers up to ten years long. All in all, I have to say in the modernization social, we may incapable discover real hero.
In addition, some noted heros intend to exist for good, through a great deal of them had a bad reputation. Like we all like to say,"we all make mistakes." Take a example, Kobe is one of best basketball pleyer in some fun's eyes. Although, he were involved in a sexual harassment once. But for the reason that he is good at playing basketball very well, he is still a hero for now. If need be judge the use of media is that it is a kind of catalyst. Whatever the period Kobe is down or up, the media always be the beneficent one.We all know that, but we still could be provoked by the talking media said. But, essentially our human are able to judge by ourselves.
In short, in sipte of the influence of the media, the affect power of the hero is never could be neglect. The thing is because of the self-criticize of the people, and the continuing thing a hero continue to do. In sum, even in a more and more busy and cool world, we are opt to have more and more heros to make the world better step by step. As I see it, that's waht the real world is.
