Magazines and newspapers never tire of describing beautiful scenery in rural areas in order to cause readers attention. People prefer to visit some scenery spots in rural areas for relaxation. However, when it comes to the issue about choosing a perfect place in order to take better care of families, people's opinion differs from person to person and culture to culture. Some may prefer to live in a town, while others may choose to live in a city on the contrary. On personal level, I support the prior one for reasons of living a healthy life style and having more communications with family members.
Recently, the health condition of people living in a city has caused public concern. Unfortunately, people find that hardly can the citizens own an healthy body. It is unfavorable environment such as atmospheric pollution or excessive vehicle exhaust that lead to this situation. Therefore, we are tempted to ask ourselves: Isn't it necessary for us to select an ideal place for families to live in? Isn't it compulsory for us to realize the importance of living environment? Isn't it better for us to live in rural areas in order to take care of our families? Obviously, one can't take care of families by living a place with polluted atmosphere and water. Consequently, favorable environment is a requisite part of life. If we are living in country, we can go outside for a walk with families, enjoying warm sunshine and fresh air for relaxation after a hard day's work, which is beneficial to our healthy.
Communications with families comes next only to the importance of favorable environment. That is, we have plenty of extra time to communicate with family members. We may easily quote an example to illustrate this. Just imagine that you are living in country with your families. There is less TV channels and entertainment facilities than urban areas. Moreover, you don't have to suffer high working stress and loneliness, which is prevalent in big cities. When one of your families feel frustrated, you have plenty of time to listen to his or her complaints and to comfort him or her. Maybe, you can be more patient to give advice to the family under the comfortable circumstance.
It is true that living in a city has its own merits. It means that one can get more job opportunities readily available than in a small town. Moreover, not only are there more job positions in big cities but the quality of the position is much higher as well. In addition, the pay is more decent. However, when taking more factors into consideration, as far as I'm concerned, living in rural areas is better than this kind of life. Although the average pay is much less than that of big cities, the price of daily necessities, such as vegetables or meat, is usually less expensive.
In short, we may safely draw the conclusion that it is better for us to live in rural areas in the terms of taking care of our families. Only in this way can we enjoy an ideal living environment and have more communications with families.
