The speaker asserts that we are prevented by the new luxuries and loss our ability to be truly strong and independent.I partly agree with the assertion .To stronger the opinion ,we have to firstly define what is truly strong .And whether a man is strong is defined by both the inside and outside factors,so the claim needs further analysis.first of all,in my opinion the strongly strong is a mixture of the heart and ability.there is an old saying that the gentleman not different also ,good fake in also.that is to say a strange man is not always strong in his body,but when he can make good use of other things,he is also a strong man.but when we are considering the inside strong and independent, the luxuries has truly greatly weakened it.
