Nowadays, taking up an occupation is an issue of the graduates. They can benefit from a good job physicially and mentally. There is a heated discussion among the graduates whether they choose the jobs similar to their parents is better. I have a positive opinion.
Firstly, people will be influenced by their parents about their jobs when they were at young age. If you stride forward in this field, you can comprehend the mission and the process of your job quicker than your workmates.It can help you to save your time and stand out among the multitude.For example, the Johann Strauss and his son are both the talent musician of Austrian. His son was deeply edified by his musicial opus.
Secondly, parents will try their best to narrate their experience and also the mistakes which they don't expect you to make again. Whenever you feel miserable and have some problems, your parents will help you selfishless. Take myself as an example, my major is financial management,my father was major in accountant in college and his job is relevent to it, so it is convenient for me to ask some questions about the accounting and finance.
Thirdly, your parents might get acquainted with many people who is occupied in this field. They may give you a hand when you in a predicament. And you can establish your own interpersonal circle quickly if you grasp these good resources. Such as some actors or artists whose parents are well-known in their circle will bring lots of benefits for them.
Adimittedly, if you have no interest in your parents' occupations and you ensure you can get achievement in some other fields, it will be a good choice to choose the job you are skilled. However, the majority of us don't have a specific goal and be confident in it. Hence, choosing a job similar to your parents will be better for most of us.
