Nowadays more and more students in China attend colleges and then there is an increasing number of students with college graduate certificates rushing into all areas of society. Why so many young people choose to go for colleges, as if it is an inevitable way of running into their bright future. As I see it, the possible reasons are as follows.First of all, it is simply a trend of society. Such a trend involves the government's appeal to its people for higher education, society's preference for well-educated workers and parents' urgent expectation for children's excellent academic performance in school. As a result, entering college which is almost the highest  stage of study is becoming more and more popular. We can have a clear idea how the aim-at-college education shapes children's opinion of college, for example, when looking back at the growth of a child. Once we can talk, we are asked what our dreams are. And only the answer with big ambition for education can be favored by parents. And similarly, once we step into pupils school, we are told our final and honorable goal is college. The intention is for the positively depicted images of college to be transferred to the hardworking and for the two to become automatically linked in our mind. From that moment on, we gradually discover that entering college is almost the greatest blessing we children can return to parents and family. Then we are determined to devote ourselves to study and spare no efforts to get close to college. You know, it's just like a take-for-granted routine that impose on us far before we have a mature and independent mind.Secondly, a large group of people choose going to college based on the consideration of looking for better jobs and therefore planning an easier and  more comfortable life. As we all know that those without college certificates are facing great difficulty in finding a well-paid job. They are less likely to take on the job for a lack of necessary skills and knowledges. Then comes the hardship of earning bread and make a living. If not attending college means such great obstacles for both work and life, then how can the generations of this age refuse to go to college? How can they simply reject the way that leads to a better and easier life and choose the opposite? Given this situation, it seems as if going to college is a no-better choice that we have to choose.Finally, there still a small group of people that have a clear and independent mind of themselves and of the society. Such young people are not driven by the will of their parents nor by the impulse of society passively, they pursue their own dream out of their interests and capability. They are in the opinion that college is the most appropriate platform for them to gain the knowledge they need and broaden their circle of friends and enlarge their envision. They do not consider college as a tool for other purpose, they'd rather regard it as an end in it self. They enjoy it. It is simply a thing to do, no other reasons.
