The process of education involves not only imparting knowledge with praise, but also criticizing those erroneous actions in order to correct them and thus reach a better level, consequently, to teach someone effectively, the instructors should be aware of both positive and negative actions to improve those who are instructed more comprehensively. As a result, I hold the view that the given claim may overrate the function of praising and neglect the necessity of proper punishment of the bad conduct, and I think both should be considered in the process of teaching.It is conducive for parents to belie their adoration and pride of their children when teaching them basic behavior rules just as the teachers' praising their students in school. As for the former, the positive reflection from the parents will stimulate the children's willingness to act decently in the following years and it is recorded that children who grow up in a family of much encourgement and stimulation are expected to be more optimistic and desicive than those in the adverse conditions. In respect to the students' performance in school, the essential role of praise and encouragement also cannot be neglected. For example, when a student who initiates his studying in physics recieves much positive assertion about his assignment from his respected teacher, the students may think that physics is so interesting and learn the discipline more arduously than other students in the class.Even though positive attitude from the parents plays a significant and beneficial role in children's learning, always praising and no adverse evaluation may be even more detrimental for the growth of the children. For instance, a child who get so much praise from his parents and never recieves any adverse ones is likely to be arrogant to others due to his self-rightness. Another harmful infuence is that when they come into their adulthood and step into the workmarket, it is impossible that all his supervior and his colleagues will praise his work, chances are high that they may do the opposite, then, the poor new employers may encounter the depression he has never faced. That is to say, always praising teaching methods just miss some vital aspects of education-the cultivation of one's ability to face bad situations.Criticizing their bad and harmful behaviors is also indispensable if the improper conduct may hinder their regular growth as a active and informative person who is able to bring the society beneficial influence and affect others in a conducing way. In summary, praising positive actions is important in teaching, but it is not the only and suffient way. When combined with other methods like proper pointing out the negative actions, the praising stratage is able to play a immense function, otherwise, it may bring the adverse results that both parents and teachers do not anticipate.
