1. Computer Science: a new tehnology drive the world to enter a new age, Informational Age becuase of humans' imagination. In the 1980's China, any accountant use an abcus to do the accounts. No matter how proficient a accountant is, he or she had a very low effiency compared to today's accountants who operate a computer accounting software to deal with an account.
2. Lawsuit: people deal with lawsuit according to previous cases. Thus for a excellent judge, he or she must know exactly what was happened in the past judicial case, in order to make a right judgment.

1. Imagination is derived from basic knowledge which can be regarded as previous experience to some extents. Imagine if human beings have no writing skills to document the knowledge they have learned from previous experience, how can our society have developped so rapidly? We inherit the experiences so that we can comprehend them and originate new ideas. Eninstein advance the Theory of Relativity just becuase he had fully understanded the classical physics and doubted it.
2. No experience: But if we rely on experiences all the time, our society would develop. Imagination is a power to drive us to a new area. e.g. Steam engine.
If experiences are not able to meet our needs then, imagination comes out.
