Nowadays, a controversial issus is that an appealing image is more paramount than essence. Some people considers that an appealing image is helpful for a person or a company to get more chances that is benefit to company to complement missions. While, other people holds the point that essence is a decisive factor that could prompt a company to finish its works. My point is both an appealing image and essence are important.
When it comes to an appealing image, it could help a company or a person to attract more attention, which is benefit a company or a person to get more chances. If a company obtain these opportunities, its profit might boost; as well as, a person gain these chances, he or she could achieve his or her goal in a short period of time.For a company, an appealing image might include credence, spirit and advertisements. A conon advertisement of a company would largely prompt its sell. For instance, BEDEERS's advertiment--" The Diamondes is Forever."  Students would likely to be admitted by colleges, if his or her personal statement is attractive and special. In additon, stars would pick out a interesting character form a larger scale, and cast more  movies.
Even though an appealing image plays a significnt role for companies, students, and stars, essense could not be slighted.If a company let custumers down, the company would bankrupt sooner or later. A plausible evidence is Sanlu. Actually, appealing image and essense are parallell to the progress of hiking. An appealing image is parallell to the equipment of hiking, which might help one climb to peak with less arduous. On the other hand, essense is parallell to the ability of the hiker. Thus, no matter what the sophisticated equipment is, the decissive factor of achieving mount peak is absolutely the strenght of the hiker. Accoring to this mode, the succes of a company is up to its essence.
In my standpoint, an appealing image and essence is amalgamation, only these two aspects shored up to each other tightly could a person or a company achieve goals. An appealing image could attract more chances and resources to a company, which would help the company to accomplish its missions; however, whether the company succeed or  not, essence is paramount. Nevertheless, a company also would develop well without an appealing image, at least, the tempo of the development might be slow.  In particutly, at the early state of XDF, it hadn't an appealing advertisment,however XDF relyed on its excellent quality of teaching to develop. And now, XDF is the biggest institution in China.
Overall, on the premise of embracing outstanding essence, a company or  a person, trying to have an appealing image, could be more likely to access to success.
