    本句有两个难点：1. 含有被动语态的句子的成分分析。 2. 主系表结构的理解。 含有被动语态的句子的主语是受动者，谓语由 be 动词+动词的过去分词组成，在并列句的第一个分句中 the concentrations 为主语， were altered 为谓语。 当谓语是表示感觉状态的连系动词如 feel，look 等，或表示状态转变的动词如 become， remain，grow， stay 等时，此类句子属于主系表结构，所以并列句的第二个分句 become 为系动词，components 为表语。
