when we get a new job ,what is more important between excellent knowledge or ability to adapt a new environment? some people think excellent knowledge is more important,because if you are not good at skills, you will meet lots of problems and maybe make lots mistakes in works.But i think the ability to adapt a new environment is more important.firstly, ability to adapt a new environment is a  basic ability to begin a new job. A new environment sometimes means new  place ,new colleague even new live condition. If you can not fit those ,you will have less energy to do work.Last year ,my friend went to America to work. the food and the climate was very unaccustomed to him. he felt hungry and cold everyday and then was working with  bad emotion. at last, he could not endure the living condition and resigned to go back homeland. secondly, if you can pass the interview of a company ,it shows you mainly has already control enough skills to start the work.but why lots of people can not be qualified the  works? a large portion of people can not adopt the new environment or adopt slowly .more rapidly you adopt ,better work you will do. last year ,two freshman joined our company. they have almost same knowledge foundation. but one of them adopted our company rapidly ,communicate with colleague fearless, and now he already become a team leader but the other one doesn't make such big progress as him.    thirdly, there is some kinds of job that always need to contact other people,this kind of job will request ability to adopt environment than excellent knowledge, such as management. you should fit in and know everyone around you first,then you can manage.if you are hard to be well acquainted with others, your  management will be  inefficiency.but  ,excellent knowledge is essential. when you finish adopt the new environment ,you will depend on your specialized knowledge to work.so ,the ability to adopt new environment is the most important and is the foundation when you get a new job. we must improve our this kind of ability.
