The claim that people's behavior is largely determined by forces not of their own making implies that individual responsibility may not beyond the society. In my view, however, those people underestimate the forces of one's own. Individual responsibility largely decided the people's behaviors. Admittedly, the statement holds certain merit in two aspects. First, one's behavior formed gradually by his environment around him. Once one's behavior was formed, he can hardly change his customs from his born. Second, the family plays a important role in the progress of one's behavior forming due to people can't choose their families but accepter.The merits above, however, are far from sufficient for justifying the claim. It is undoubted that the environment around us during our growth put a vital role in our life, however, as a member of society, we had individual responsibility.If we ignore the responsibility in our study, work and life,just behavior by force not of our own mind which would lead to merry-making, moreover, the society may become a mess. For example,police regardless of the individual responsibility in the jail of transportation, the crowd of cars will impact on the whole orders of society.When we make a decision, we should take acount of the individual responsibility. Recently, the current events--Diaoyu Island is closely related our ordinary life. Facing this issue, some people behaviored over passionating.They organized demonstration and destroyed the cars with mark of Japan, even do not know the cars also made in the inland of China. While, other people treated the issue more reasonable. They proposed letters against Japanese inhuman behavior through internet or medium. I am appreciate the later who conquered his instincts and do a right way.Although we know one's behavior influenced by society, we should also realize that we can make a choice confront of environment with our responsibility but not be controled by externalties.
