with the development of our society, there are a larger number of amusement activities in our life. and since the rapidly growing of the entertainment industry, some serious people are worrying about us addiction to it and they start to claim that only it is only worth watching movies that can teach us something about real life. but i just can't agree with this, for i believe that people go to see a movie usually with different purpose and measuring whether a movie is worth to see depend on the origin purpose. so it is not just the movie that can teach us something about real life worth seeing.undoubtedly, it is true that movies that can teach us something about real life are worth watching. they usually kind of moral, humanity and something about history, such as Titanic, which tell us the beautiful love in the whole life, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which revealed us the precious friendship with four girls and led me know the importance of friendship in my life, and Aftershock moved me by its parental love, giving me the realization that it is important to take care parents with all respect and love. i clearly remembered the time i watched 1942 with my roommates. the movie tells a story happened in 1942 when Chian is in the episode of anti-Japanese war, and what's worse, there is a big famine in Henan, a province in China. the characters' experience is like a mirror which reflects what the people struggle in that time. after seeing the movie, i thought a lot and find more about the history of that time and feel different about my life today. i'm too happy, seriously. since then, i learned how to see a event with an all-around and objective perspective.but even so, i still have to say people usually go to see a movie with different purpose. except learning something, a large amount of people want to have a fun, like after a party of some old friends or with so much a busy weekdays, people want to relax themselves and then go back to fight with work or study. of course, there are some people who is very interested in technology see a movie only to know the 3-D technology. thus some other kind of movie work. comedy like Lost on Journey let us laugh after a heavy work, horror movie like the Ring help us release the pressure and emotion sometimes ,and of course, there are some movies like Very Lucky that you really don't know what it is talking about, but it do kill you boring time. it is also helpful.i do agree that movies that teach us something about real life are worth watching, but think about that, if you have a considerably long time studying, and after the hard work, you finally do it. all you want to do is just to see a comedy to make you relaxed. but people just push you to see a serious, stubborn and boring history movie, what do you think? Damn, it's better to have a sleep than sitting here, right? so in my opinion, the standard of measuring whether a movie is worth seeing depend on the purpose of people who watch it. no matter they want to learn something, have fun, seek for stimulation, or just kill time, if they think the movie does good to them, then i think it is worth watching, rather than some people think that it is only worth watching the movie that can teach us something about real life.
