When it comes to talking about statement of financing libraries or sports facilities by adopting a certain ratio, I am inclined to subsidize libraries more than sports activities. For advantages brought by the library outweigh those of sports facility. The library symbols the development of a university and students could learn a lot if it has all kinds of books and e-books, and most importantly, it might fascinate more students and parents.One contribution of subsidizing the library is making people aware of the importance  of the library to the developemnt of a university. History tells us that one bad college fails to  enjoy a spacious and resourceful library and the school rarely financed it. Actually, any university without enough money to establish its library can not hire specialized professor and high grade students. On the contrary, when a university that devotes aboundant fund to the construction of library could attract more attention all over the world. Thus, in order to make great progress, university should endow more money to its library rather than its sports.Benefits of financing more on the library are countless. A survey of students who acquire fame and fortune after graduating from university for 4 years, dramatically illustrates the importance of endowing the library. About 90% students told that they read many books and possessed extraordinary knowledge in different fields in that their school gave a lot endowment to establish its library and the library have various kinds of books and e-books. In addition, a wonderful library never fails to attract more sudents and therefore the university can be greatly improved. So I agree with the action of financing the library than anything else.However, if the university make its contribution to the sports facilities, the students might benefits  from it to some extent, because sports facility simply plays supporting role for not only the reputation of a university but the development of students. For one, students can take exercise at their free time and thus they would have a srtong body. For another, to some extent, students strenghthen their relationship when they participate in a competition and it is possible for them to cultivate sense of confident and conception of cooperation, which in not vital for students.  Consequently, subsidizing the sports facility enables its student to obtain some privileges.In sum, from the reason explained above, I can safely come to the conclusion that benefits come from library outnumber those of sports. So, I hold the idea that the university should endow its library more than anythng else. Therefore,  both library and university can be promoted mutually.
