回答: 学习某个专业是否成功应该参考的因素包括这个专业的发展潜力、就业前景以及社会效益。应用研究可以在短期事件带来商业利益,理论研究通常需要长期投入,社会效益不会立竿见影,但是理论研究是推动科学社会发展的重要力量。一个专业的成功与否不是凭一两个人心中的印象所决定,更多地依赖的是社会大环境的发展和变化。
2. 如果没能形成正确的价值理念标准,而仅仅为了“成功”而选择专业,会有哪些潜在的问题和不足?请举例并简述。
回答: 如果仅仅为了所谓的成功而选择专业,教育机构将学生和资源都集中在了所谓容易找到工作的领域,那么基础研究工作自然会荒废,学生有选择教育的权利,自然就有研究领域的权利,学校应该为所有的学生都提供公平的资源。不然会使得社会化发展停滞,社会发展后劲不足。
3. 除了为以后的成功做准备以外,在大学阶段,学生应该锻炼哪些其他能力?怎样进行这些能力的锻炼?请举例并简述。
回答: 在大学阶段,学生应该锻炼自己的社会能力,即为人处事以及社会交往的能力。大学就如同一个社会的大熔炉,如果不能把自己的这些能力锻炼出来,将很难在社会上生存。可以从事一些社团活动、在假期时候在社会上做一些实习,以致在平时课堂上注意锻炼自己的领导力。
4. 在毕业之后的工作和生活中,是否只有专业知识才是有用的?如果不是,还有哪些知识是有用的?为什么?请举例说明。
回答: 不是,除了专业知识,一些社交技巧的掌握和计算机知识都是合理有效的。学习各种学科知识,开阔学生视野,结实更多朋友,利于学生全面发展。对于文科学生,理科教育有助于提高学生的数理逻辑能力。对于理科学生,文科教育有助于培养学生人文素养和情商。高等学校学科专业日益细化,但是当今世界各种问题日益复杂,多数问题需要多个学科的综合知识,需要运用交叉学科的方法,专业以外课程为学生提供发现自己兴趣的机会。
5. 教育机构应该对学生的学习和发展起到怎样的引导作用?都应该如何去做?请分析并简述。
回答: 教育机构应该明确自己责任是辅助、管理研究教学,而不应该越俎代庖,鼓励学生选择研究 方向,更不应该只将科学研究重点放在有利于学生就业的领域。学生 有选择教育的权利,自然就有选择自己研究领域的权利,学校应该为所有的学生都提供公平 的资源。从事科学研究的动力是各异的:有人是为了获得高学位,从而获得更好的就业机会; 有人是获得尊重,得到社会的承认;有人为了满足自己的求知欲望,满足自己的好奇心;有人是为了挑战各种未知领域,现身科研事业。大学教育重在培养学生学习和思考能力,职业教育在于传授技术,满足市场对劳动力的需求。

Learning a major depends on many factors, including the potential development of the subject, the career development and also the social benefit. We can't hastily conclude that a field's success or not in the reason that it relys on different subjects. Thus, the educational institutions have no responsibility to dissuade students from pursuing fields of study in which they are unlikely to succeed.

For the first reason, it is important for the educational institutions to know that the main duty of themselves is to assist students to study, administrate the scientific research, and encourage the students to choose what they are inclined to do, not to emphasize on the benefits of researching. The obligation of the educational institute is to benefit every student develop quite well, not to put their own will on the students.

In the second place, students have the duty to choose what they want to be educated, which means they can naturally choose what they want to study and research. Schools should provide the fair educational resources for all the students. If the whole society and students judge the finacial success as the only reference point, it will make the whole society develop slowly. The applied research can bring commercial benefits in the short term, but the theoretical research need a long-term input. The social benefit can't take effect instantly, however, the reserch is the important effort to put the science in process.

Thirdly, except for the specific knowledge, the social skills and computer knowledge are also efficent for students to learn. Learning different subject's knowledge helps students to open their mind and make more friends. For the arts students, the scientific education can help improve students algebic logical ability. For the science students, the art education helps develop students humanity attainment and EQ. The majors of universities specifies a lot, however, there are more and more complicated problems existed in the current society. Most of the problems need the synthesized knowledge of different subjects, which means to let students find their own interests outside the courses.

Nowadays, it makes more and more tight connections between education and students' career. The economic development of the society relys on the eligible students of the educational institutions. The corporate is in need of graduates with excellent skills. The universities expect their graduates can have strong competency. Parents hope their children to get a quite good job after graduation. As competation increases, the students must clearly know the need of the corporate.

Thus, we can see that the educational institutions could tell students the current career situation and the development orientation. However, the educational institutions didn't have the ability to preclude their students to choose the fields with few success opportunities. Except for the major which students study in, they need to explore more outside the courses.
